Anne T. Nichting is the founder of the Nichting Law Firm, P.C. She provides legal counseling and services to assist middle income boomers and seniors plan for the future and meet their individual goals. Ms. Nichting focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, health care advance directives, living wills, powers of attorney, long-term care planning, Medicaid planning, wills, trusts, and related matters.
Ms. Nichting's goal is to establish long-term, caring client relationships. She believes that close working relationships with clients helps ensure their unique needs are met. Ms. Nichting has provided services to individuals and couples from different walks of life and enjoys helping clients from diverse backgrounds.
Prior to establishing her own firm, Ms. Nichting worked for two large national law firms. She gained valuable experience in administrative law and commercial and civil litigation. Throughout her legal career Ms. Nichting has strived to educate her clients and the public through counseling, writing articles and providing seminars on legal issues.
Ms. Nichting is a firm believer in serving the public through pro bono work. She provides service to the community through Colorado Legal Services, Metro Volunteer Lawyers and other cases referred to her through the Denver metro senior community.
Ms. Nichting is admitted to practice law in the State of Colorado, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. She is a member of the Denver Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, the Elder Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association, the Trust and Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
Ms. Nichting graduated from the University of Denver's College of Law. She also holds a Masters of Science degree from the Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University.
Before pursuing a career in law, Ms. Nichting was an occupational safety and health consultant to the federal government and industry. This background provides her with an understanding of health and medical issues and the importance of prevention and planning.
Ms. Nichting is a Denver native. She and her husband of twenty years enjoy spending time together and the company of their two Labrador Retrievers. She is a runner, an avid angler, amateur bird watcher, and takes advantage of every opportunity to enjoy the beautiful state of Colorado. She also enjoys gardening and cooking.
